An independent real ale and craft beer bar on Castle Street, run by owners Chris Wells and Cara Sheldrake since 2015. The pub pours an ever-changing range of cask, keg and bottled beer alongside cider, gin, whisky and wine, and hosts open mic nights, folk sessions and a cider club. It was named Reading & Mid Berks CAMRA Pub of the Year in 2024.
