The Dukes occupies a former church on Moor Lane, converted into Lancaster's only producing theatre in 1971 and now combining two stage and cinema spaces with a gallery and cafebar under one charitable trust. The programme mixes touring and in-house theatre with mainstream and art-house film, plus workshops and community projects.
