A one-room micropub tucked into Hambletonian Yard, just off Stockton High Street, opened in 2014 by John Christie and now run alongside his son Cameron. The bar keeps a rotating line of cask ales, craft beers, ciders and spirits from small producers, with no fruit machines, television or piped music to disturb conversation.
