The VictoriaInn Washington

The Victoria Inn began as a Bass house in 1865 and was rebuilt in 1940, and today operates as a family-run community pub with five en-suite letting rooms above the bar. Its Marcello restaurant serves Italian food five evenings a week, and a cooked breakfast is included for overnight guests each morning. A Wednesday quiz night draws a regular local crowd, and the pub sits on a bus route linking to the Tyne and Wear Metro.
