TNR Outdoors is an independent adventure-activity operator based at Mile End Mill on Berwyn Road, beside the River Dee just outside Llangollen. Founded in 2015 by paddlesport instructors, it has grown from a handful of courses into a centre with its own private stretch of the Dee. On the water it runs kayaking, open-canoeing, white-water rafting, gorge walking and guided canoe cruises over the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, with sessions graded for beginners through to improvers. A custom-built indoor space adds archery, axe throwing, air-rifle target shooting and bouldering, so groups can carry on whatever the river conditions. The centre also delivers paddlesport qualifications, first aid and rescue training. Sessions cater to families, schools, stag and hen groups and individuals, and no prior experience is required for the taster activities. Instruction is led by qualified coaches.
