Toast

TOAST describes itself as an independent British coffee chain founded by three friends, with branches in Braintree, Chelmsford, Witham, Colchester, Sudbury, Clacton-on-Sea and Bury St Edmunds. Alongside coffee the menu runs to toasties, sandwiches, milkshakes and frappes. Since January 2024 its Coffee for a Coffee scheme has given away nearly 100,000 cups to charities, organisations and community events, one donated for each coffee sold. Cups are recyclable and used grounds are turned into fertiliser.
