Independent freehouse in the hamlet of Goose Eye, taken over by local residents Steve Mortimer and Fay Howell in November 2020, whose own family once ran the pub in the 1930s. The kitchen runs a field-to-fork project using Belted Galloway cattle raised close by, alongside locally brewed cask ales and a Thursday real ale club.
