Ty Mawr at Bethania is an eighteenth-century farmhouse on a fifteen-acre smallholding outside the hamlet of Bethania, on the B4577 between Cross Inn and Tregaron. Owners Griz and Colleen bought the then-derelict farm in March 2014, spent their first year restoring it into a working smallholding, and opened the farmhouse and adjoining Crumble Cottage to guests the following year. The bed and breakfast offers en-suite rooms in the farmhouse itself, run directly by the owners rather than let through a management company, alongside self-catering in Crumble Cottage on the same plot. Guests can see the smallholding's animals and grounds during a stay. It remains a single working farmstay rather than part of any hotel group, with Griz and Colleen still running both the land and the rooms.
