107 Wine Shop& Bar

107 Wine Shop and Bar occupies the same kitchen-sized unit on Lower Clapton Road that opened as P. Franco in 2014. The original wine bar closed in March 2023, and manager William Gee ran a crowdfunding campaign to reopen the site later that year under its new name. The room holds a single communal table plus a run of window counter seats, built around a kitchen island where a guest chef cooks a short, changing menu of small plates on an induction hob. Around sixty different bottles go on pour by the glass in an average week, chosen for low-intervention winemaking over big-name producers. There is no fixed head chef; kitchen residencies rotate every few months, which keeps the food list moving nearly as often as the wine list does.
