Chisenhale Gallery

Non-profit contemporary art gallery housed in a former Victorian trolleybus depot on Chisenhale Road, occupied by a group of artists from 1980 before it separated into its own charitable organisation in the early 1990s. The gallery commissions a single new work at a time from an early or mid-career artist rather than holding a permanent collection, and admission is free.
