Action Records

Action Records has traded from 46 Church Street since 1981, having started life as a market stall in Blackpool in 1979. The shop stocks new and secondhand vinyl, CDs, and DVDs across genres, and has hosted in-store signings and performances for touring musicians over the years. It also runs its own record label out of the same building. The shop keeps regular high-street hours, open Monday to Saturday from nine until half past five, and closed on Sundays. Racks of secondhand vinyl line the back of the store behind the new-release wall at the front, and trade-ins are still handled over the counter rather than by appointment.
