Ribble Valley Gin Co distils in a stone outhouse on Little Lane in Longridge, a building put up in 1888 to house pigs and now fitted with an 83-litre column still. Justine and Luke set up the business in 2019, keeping the original stonework and beams rather than gutting the building for a showroom look. Each batch runs to around 50 bottles, vapour-infused with botanicals and cut with spring water carried down from a private estate in the Trough of Bowland. Little Lane, the signature gin, takes its name from the address rather than any botanical, and the range has since grown to include seasonal expressions with labels designed by local artists. Tours of the distillery let visitors see the still and outhouse up close, followed by a tasting of the current range.
