The Parkers Arms is a stone-built pub in the small Forest of Bowland village of Newton-in-Bowland, on the road between Clitheroe and Slaidburn. Chef Stosie Madi and Kathy Smith took over the then-derelict building in January 2007 and run it as a single dining pub with rooms above the River Hodder valley. The kitchen uses regional produce for dishes such as Lancashire hotpot, curried mutton pie and charcoal-grilled fish, alongside real ales and an affordably priced wine list. It has no other branches.
