All About Eve at Home is an independent homeware and gift shop on Reigate High Street, run by owner Melanie Walmsley since the business relocated here from Buckinghamshire in 2013, having started trading in Old Amersham in 2009. The shop mixes handmade UK candles and diffusers, scented with essential oils and designed to burn for around forty hours, with painted French furniture, vintage glassware and cake stands, jewellery, scarves and greetings cards. Melanie, who previously worked in retail for Harrods and The White Company, sources stock from antique fairs and UK suppliers and wraps gifts on request. It opens seven days a week, with shorter hours on Sunday, and has built a following among regulars for its changing mix of new and vintage stock rather than a fixed seasonal range.
