Beck IsleMuseum

An independent charity museum in a Georgian house on Bridge Street, set up in 1967 by local people wanting to preserve Pickering's history. Around 60,000 objects cover rural trades, domestic life and social history from Victorian times to the mid-20th century, with no regular funding from local or national government.
