Artisan Frames operates a picture-framing workshop and small gallery on Whitbygate in Thornton-le-Dale, cutting mounts and building frames to order from a stock of timber and metal mouldings. Alongside commission framing for photographs, prints and needlework, the shop displays and sells work by regional artists, and offers conservation-grade mounting for older or valuable pieces brought in by local customers.
