The Fox &Rabbit Inn

The Fox and Rabbit Inn sits on the A169 at Lockton, on the southern edge of the North York Moors between Pickering and Whitby. The oldest section of the building dates to the late eighteenth century, when it operated as a beer house before gaining a full licence. Brothers Charles and Toby Wood have run the pub since 2004, serving cask ales alongside a menu built around local produce, and letting a handful of bedrooms for overnight stays.
