Dalby BikeBarn

Dalby Bike Barn is an independent cycle-hire base and workshop in the centre of Thornton-le-Dale, close to the entrance of Dalby Forest. It hires a full range of bikes, from hardtail and full-suspension mountain bikes to electric mountain bikes, children's bikes, tag-alongs, trailers and adapted cycles, so families and groups can ride the forest's waymarked trails and the surrounding moors and lanes. Alongside hire it runs a bike shop and servicing workshop and offers guided rides, coaching and skills courses, taster sessions and demo days. The village sits on the A170 between Pickering and Scarborough, a short drive from the forest's red and blue trail networks. It is a single independent operation rather than a chain outlet, geared to getting visitors onto the trails and keeping bikes running.
