Bottles Wine Bar& Merchants

Opened in May 2015 by husband-and-wife team Jordan and Joanna Crum, Bottles occupies a shop and bar on New Street in Worcester city centre, pairing a wine merchant's retail shelves with a bar serving cocktails, spirits and rotating beers and ciders. Jazz and local bands play on Thursday nights, and wine-tasting evenings run regularly, drawing custom beyond casual passers-by. Since 2025 the kitchen has been run in partnership with Chad's Gnashery, serving small plates alongside the drinks list. The single-site business has traded from the same New Street address since opening, building a reputation as a specialist retailer as much as a bar. Boutique and lesser-known wines make up the bulk of the retail stock, setting it apart from supermarket-style wine shopping.
