Clydebank Museum opened in 1980 in Clydebank Town Hall, originally operated by volunteers from the local communities that had lobbied for its creation. Since August 2025, with a new museum and local history archives in the basement of Clydebank Library, the building is known as Clydebank Town Hall and Galleries. Galleries 1-4 show fine art, with model ships at the entrance and Singer sewing machines from a collection named a Recognised Collection of National Significance by Museums Galleries Scotland in 2013. Free admission, Tuesday to Friday.
