Nomads' Coffee sits on Paisley High Street, close to the University of the West of Scotland and across from the museum, and runs as a speciality coffee shop rather than a general café. Beans come from Nuach Coffee Roasters, brewed through methods including a V60 pour-over that staff will talk customers through if asked, alongside a run of loose-leaf Rare Teas. Cakes are made without gluten and mostly without animal products, and plant milks are offered as standard rather than as an add-on. The shop opens early, from 8.30am on weekdays and Saturdays and 9.30am on Sundays, closing mid-afternoon each day. Dogs are welcome, and the small room fills with a mix of students, university staff and locals passing along the High Street. The shop has drawn strong ratings on review platforms since opening in 2020.
