Bernie's CafeDeli

Bernie's Cafe Deli occupies a Main Street building in Bridge of Weir that previously housed a Co-operative store and, later, Campbell's Electricians. The café serves breakfast and brunch through the morning, moving to lunch dishes such as soup, sandwiches and seasonal salads made with locally sourced ingredients, then bistro-style evening food on selected nights. Cakes are baked on the premises, and the deli counter sells Italian ice cream alongside coffee. It opens seven days a week, Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm and Sunday from 10am to 5pm, with the kitchen taking last food orders at 4pm. The dining room fills a converted retail unit rather than a purpose-built restaurant space, giving Bernie's the layout of a village shop turned all-day café rather than a conventional bistro.
