Mill &Brae

Mill & Brae stands on Glenburn Road on the southern edge of Paisley, in the building that was long the Gleniffer Hotel. Gary and Gemma McCaw took it over in 2020 and reworked it into a food-led restaurant, bar and small hotel, keeping six en-suite bedrooms on the first floor. The name marks its position between the Gleniffer Braes above the town and the mills of the old thread trade below. Downstairs runs as a restaurant and bar with function space for parties and events; upstairs the rooms are straightforward doubles with tea and coffee facilities, aimed at guests who want to stay over after a meal or celebration. It is independently owned and run as a single site, within walking distance of Glenburn and a short drive from Paisley town centre and Glasgow Airport.
