Romy's Kitchenand Dining

Romy's Kitchen and Dining is an independent restaurant on Alexander Street in the Kilbowie area of Clydebank, opened in 2023 by chef-owner Cara Roberts and named after her late grandmother, Rosemary. It works to a table d'hote format, with a set menu that changes roughly every two weeks around seasonal market produce and rotating themes and cuisines. Alongside the food there is a changing cocktail list and optional wine pairings. The dining room is small and the cooking is done to order, so booking is advised; the same unit also houses Roberts's meal-prep operation. Clydebank sits on the north bank of the Clyde west of Glasgow, and Romy's is one of a handful of chef-led independents in the town working to a fresh-produce, frequently-changing approach rather than a fixed carte.
