Dragon Roastery roasts small batches of coffee from premises on Stryd Pendref in Newborough. Two decades of drinking proper coffee led the team into roasting their own beans, now sold as espresso blends and single origins including Sumatra Mandheling and Huehuetenango. Their espresso blend holds a two-star rating from the Great Taste Awards. Alongside wholesale and retail bean sales, the business converted a horsebox trailer into a mobile coffee and cocktail bar that travels to events around North Wales. Customers can buy green beans for home roasting, or gift sets pairing coffee with roastery-branded cups and a coffee-scrub soap made from spent grounds.
