Ann's Pantry

Ann's Pantry has operated from the same building in Moelfre since at least 1926, a fact the family-run cafe states plainly on its own history page. Regular customers recall that during wartime the shop was one of the few places able to source chocolate, a detail passed down rather than documented. The kitchen bakes its cakes on site, serves Fairtrade tea, coffee and hot chocolate, and grows some of its own herbs and apples for chutneys and crumbles. Breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea are served through the week, and opening times shift with the season, so the cafe asks visitors to telephone ahead. A small gift boutique, Flore Lifestyle, trades from the same premises overlooking the coast.
