Eastgate Studio

Eastgate Studio is an independent printmaking studio and gallery on Eastgate in Beverley, opened in February 2020 in the building that once housed Barry's Bookshop. Five equipped print studios, complete with washout sinks, are used to produce original relief, intaglio and screenprint work on site, which is sold alongside printmaking tools, inks and specialist papers in the attached gallery. The studio runs workshops and courses for small groups of up to six people, covering relief printmaking, intaglio, screenprinting and mixed sessions such as art and mindfulness, and it hosts changing exhibitions of members' and visiting artists' prints. It positions itself as a resource for printmakers and the wider creative community across Yorkshire, rather than a purely retail gallery.
