Elderwood Books

Polly and Rachel opened Elderwood Books at Manor Farm in Brampton Bryan on 29 April 2026, taking over a nineteenth-century barn on the Harley Estate that has sold books under earlier names for two decades. They stock preloved and new titles alongside a cafe serving food and drink, with board games available to borrow at the tables. The barn hosts flea markets, children's events through the school holidays and room hire for workshops and private parties. It sits on the edge of the village green in Brampton Bryan, on the Herefordshire side of the Shropshire border, roughly midway between Leintwardine and Knighton. The shop opens Wednesday to Sunday, closing Mondays and Tuesdays.
