Ffloc occupies a corner unit on Cowbridge Road East in Canton, run by co-owners Rhodri Evans and Lowri Roberts. The café-bar doubles as a small pantry and bookshop, selling tins, jars and secondhand paperbacks alongside its all-day menu. Its best-known dish is a grilled cheese sandwich made from a blend of Welsh cheeses, served in variations such as a Reuben and a chorizo-topped version, alongside breakfast plates and burgers. Coffee is served throughout the day, and the shop added a licence for beer and wine after opening, letting customers linger into the evening. Fixtures are simple: shared tables, shelves of pantry stock and a single counter for ordering. The shop opens Tuesday to Saturday and closes on Sundays and Mondays, a quieter rhythm than most Canton cafés keep.
