Blŵm

Blŵm is an independent coffee shop and lifestyle store opened in March 2022 by Sam and Caryl in Unit 1 of Fairoak House on Fairoak Road, Cathays. The café serves Coaltown Coffee, roasted by the family-run Ammanford roastery, alongside cakes baked weekly by local independent bakers and a short food menu. Shelves around the café stock homeware, candles and dried flower arrangements made by Cardiff makers and other small producers, giving the shop a dual life as café and gift shop under one roof. It trades from this single Cathays unit only, close to Cathays Park and Roath Park, and has built a following among students and locals for its combination of specialty coffee and locally made goods.
