The Fox Inn stands on Bridgnorth Road in Stourton, on the edge of Kinver, in a building dating to the late eighteenth century. It has traded for decades under proprietor Stefan Caron, who has held the licence since the early 1990s, and offers seven en-suite rooms with super-king beds alongside a restaurant and function room. Batham's Bitter and Wye Valley HPA are kept on cask, poured in a set of three connected rooms with a conservatory and large garden attached. Sunday brings a choice of three roast meats with the trimmings. The inn appeared on Channel 4's Four in a Bed and won the round. It opens from eight in the morning Tuesday to Saturday and from midday on Monday, with restaurant service running to half past nine most evenings.
