Fuzion occupies 23 Frogmore Street in Abergavenny, run by husband-and-wife team Max and Edyta since opening in May 2025. Max, originally from Italy, has cooked in South Wales kitchens since 2014; second chef Lorella, from Italy's Marche region, makes pasta by hand on site. Edyta, from Poland, runs the front of house after two decades in London and Monmouthshire hospitality. The menu sets small plates and sharing boards alongside mains drawing on Mediterranean, Eastern European and Asian cooking - pierogi dumplings, butter chicken curry, and handmade pasta made with Welsh produce where possible. The building has an outdoor beer garden facing the street and takes dog-friendly outdoor seating. Fuzion is closed Wednesdays, serves lunch and dinner Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and runs continuously through the weekend. Monmouthshire County Council awarded the restaurant a five (Very Good) food hygiene rating in June 2025, months after it replaced the previous restaurant, Tapas Twist, at the same address.
