Gallery Pangolin sits on the same industrial estate in Chalford as Pangolin Editions, the bronze foundry that casts sculpture for artists across Britain, and the gallery was set up in 1991 to exhibit work coming out of that foundry. Shows rotate through modern and contemporary sculptors alongside related drawings and prints, giving visitors a chance to see finished bronzes a few steps from where they were cast. The gallery keeps foundry-adjacent hours rather than typical retail hours, open weekday mornings and afternoons but only until 1pm on Saturdays, and closes entirely for a fortnight around the end of July. Its position inside a working foundry, rather than a high street or converted barn, sets it apart from most Cotswold galleries aimed purely at tourist footfall.
