Grunting Growler

Jehad set up Grunting Growler on Old Dumbarton Road as a bottle shop built around dispensing draught beer into growlers for carry-out, before an on-licence obtained in 2016 allowed customers to drink in at a long bench along one wall. The shop now stocks more than 300 craft beers alongside natural wines, PetNats and small-batch ciders, with six taps pouring rotating keg beers and staff offering tasters before customers commit to a can or bottle. Online orders are shipped UK-wide from the same stock held in the Yorkhill shop. The business has kept its original growler-fill service even as the bar side of the operation has grown around it.
