Keg &Comfort

Keg and Comfort opened in June 2018 inside a former Barclays Bank branch on Stafford Road in Oxley, converting the old banking hall into a single-room micropub built around conversation. There is no music, no fruit machines, no television and no sport, only four rotating cask ales, always including one dark beer, plus at least five ciders and perries and a small selection of fruit wines. A side room holds a sofa and a cupboard of board games, and a rotating art wall gives space to local artists. The pub opens on the first Wednesday of each month for extra evenings of open mic, vinyl nights or spoken word alongside its normal Thursday to Sunday hours. It was named Wolverhampton CAMRA's City Pub of the Year and Cider Pub of the Year in 2025.
