Lady Grace Boat Trips operates from the Town Jetty on Copperas Road in Brightlingsea, running sightseeing and wildlife trips along the Colne estuary aboard Lady Grace, a 21ft Matlow believed to date from the 1960s. Skipper Stacey Belbin bought the boat in March 2011 and spent the rest of that year fitting her out for passengers, running trips at weekends alongside an office job before taking the business on full-time in 2013 after a health scare. Lady Grace underwent a full rebuild in early 2020, stripped back to the bare hull with rotten stringers and bearers replaced. The business now runs close to seven days a week for most of the year, offering trips from 30-minute harbour outings to two-hour wildlife cruises toward the estuary in search of seals and seabirds, plus longer lunch and sightseeing trips. All trips are booked and paid for in advance, and Stacey's two young sons now form part of the crew.
