Leith Jewellery Studios teaches metalworking from inside the Out of the Blue Drill Hall on Dalmeny Street. Evening classes run on Tuesdays and Thursdays for beginners, with Saturday workshops covering techniques such as metal weaving, wax ring carving and sea glass jewellery. Groups are capped at seven students so tutors can give one-to-one attention, though a class needs at least four bookings to go ahead. Course fees range from fifty pounds for a single taster session up to several hundred pounds for a multi-week bangle or ring-making course. Students must be over sixteen to enrol.
