Lilyhurst PlantCentre

Lilyhurst Plant Centre is a family-run nursery spread across roughly four acres at Lilyhurst, in the countryside between Shifnal and Newport. The growers stock a wide, traditional range: garden and evergreen shrubs, herbaceous and shade-loving perennials, climbers and wall shrubs, bedding and vegetable plants, hedging, and ornamental, fruit and flowering trees. Much of the emphasis is on plants suited to local soil and conditions, with staff on hand for practical advice. The nursery has traded for around a quarter of a century and remains independently owned, rather than part of a garden-centre group. It sits down country lanes off the main roads, functioning as a destination nursery for gardeners across east Shropshire rather than a passing-trade retail-park unit. Both cash and card are taken on site.
