Wenlock Pottery operates from the Old Chapel House on Sheinton Street in Much Wenlock, run by potter Mike Fletcher, who works in stoneware and earthenware and has around 40 years' experience at the wheel. Fletcher says he is the last potter in the country still making traditional cider flagon jugs entirely by hand, a line he supplies to Hobsons Brewery in Cleobury Mortimer. Alongside his own production work, the pottery runs beginner and improver wheel-throwing courses and taster sessions for individuals, plus team-building sessions for corporate groups, held on weekday and weekend dates through the year. The building also houses a small bed and breakfast let by Fletcher, giving course participants the option of staying on site. A retail shop sells finished stoneware pieces made on the premises.
