The Birchmeadow Centre is a community owned venue in Broseley built in 1803, which has served in turn as a Baptist chapel, the Elite Cinema, a civil defence post and a social club before becoming today's arts and events centre. It is a registered charity managed by a volunteer trustee committee, hosting theatre, cinema screenings, live music and amateur dramatics for the local area.
