The Pheasant Inn at 56 Church Street in Broseley was first licensed in 1821 as a coaching inn and traded as a pub until closing in the mid-2000s. Laura Cannon bought the derelict building in 2010 and converted it into self-catering accommodation, restoring the structure into a set of individually named studios and suites, including the Mews, the Alder Suite and the Willow Studio. The building no longer operates as a pub or restaurant, trading solely as boutique holiday accommodation with direct booking by phone, email or text and self-service check-in. Cannon has run the property under the same ownership since the 2010 renovation, and it remains a single site rather than part of a hotel group or chain. Its Church Street location places it a short walk from Broseley's High Street shops and around a mile from the Iron Bridge itself, within the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site boundary.
