Suree's Kitchen

Suree's Kitchen occupies a slim shopfront at 9 The Wharfage in Ironbridge, run by chef Suree Coates, who previously cooked at The King and Thai in nearby Broseley before opening her own restaurant on the site in 2019. Every sauce is made from scratch and spices are hand-ground rather than bought pre-mixed, a habit Coates has kept from more than two decades of cooking Thai food professionally. The short menu covers pad Thai, roasted belly pork and daily fish specials, with gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan diners catered for without a separate menu. Dinner service runs Thursday to Saturday and a Friday-Saturday tapas lunch supplements it, with bookings needed 48 hours ahead because everything is cooked to order rather than held on a pass.
