The Library House occupies a Grade II listed Georgian townhouse at 11 Severn Bank in Ironbridge, built around 1730 as an ironmaster's residence before later serving as the town's library. Sarah Davis owns and runs the four-bedroom B&B, furnishing the en-suite rooms with antique pieces and artwork rather than a uniform hotel look, and fitting each with a coffee machine. The house sits a short walk from Ironbridge's museums and restaurants, on the opposite bank from where the world's first iron bridge crosses the Severn. Breakfast is included and free parking is provided for guests arriving by car, in a town where street parking is otherwise limited. The building's library past gives the guest house its name, a detail Davis has kept woven into the decor.
