Sisters Catherine and Patricia McGinnis founded Maven in 2013, opening a homeware, lighting and furniture shop inside a former bank building on Lisburn Road known locally as The Bank. The store stocks Scandinavian names including Hay, Muuto and Ferm Living alongside pieces from smaller independent Irish makers, reflecting the sisters' preference for Danish design. Patricia McGinnis offers personal shopping consultations to help customers plan out a room. The shop sits at 364 Lisburn Road, with on-site parking, an EV charger and step-free entry. Maven later extended its Sunday hours in response to shopper demand, now opening seven days a week.
