Mick Oxley paints the Northumberland coast from a gallery set in a former joiner's shop on Haven Hill, a lane above Craster harbour. Self-taught, Oxley shows both original paintings and signed, numbered limited-edition prints of the same coastline, alongside a photography series called Sea Window Craster. The gallery also carries work by other regional makers, including jewellery, ceramics and glassware, turning the single room into a broader showcase of North East craft rather than a one-artist shop. Open-edition prints on card and canvas offer a cheaper way into the same views, and greetings cards are printed from Oxley's paintings. The gallery is a short walk from Craster harbour, on the coastal path toward Dunstanburgh Castle.
