Dockside Gallery

Dockside Gallery opened in June 2017 on Main Street in Tweedmouth, on the south bank of the River Tweed beside the working dock, on Berwick's Lowry Trail. The independently owned gallery shows original paintings, prints, ceramics, jewellery and greetings cards from artists chosen from across the UK and abroad, with the collection changing through the year. Work often responds to the gallery's setting -- the docks, the Elizabethan walls of Berwick, and the coastal landscape of Northumberland and the Scottish Borders -- alongside a line in miniature pieces made for dolls' houses. The gallery takes part in the Own Art scheme, which lets buyers pay for original work in interest-free instalments, and ships internationally. It opens Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5:30pm, and has had repeated coverage in regional arts press for its changing exhibitions programme.
