Milroy's ofSoho

Milroy's of Soho has traded from 3 Greek Street since 1964, when brothers John 'Jack' and Wallace Milroy, who grew up around their parents' pub in Dumfries, opened a whisky shop stocking bottlings other Soho merchants overlooked. By the time Jack sold the business in 1993 it held roughly 600 single malts and counted 10 Downing Street among its customers. After a period under different ownership, the shop returned to independent hands in 2014 and continues to operate as a whisky specialist, retail bottler and tasting bar, with a basement space known as The Vault used for hosted tastings. The current range runs from single malts and blends to the shop's own Soho Selection and Vintage Reserve bottlings, sourced through relationships built up over six decades of trading with distilleries and independent bottlers in Scotland.
