Mourne Mountain Adventures is a guiding business based in Kilkeel and run by the Marsh family: Robbie, Evelyn, Dylan and Lauren. All guides hold Mountain Leader qualifications and first aid certification, and the company leads hikes, private guided walks, wild camping trips and navigation courses across the Mournes, along with occasional trips further afield in Ireland and Wales. Evelyn's grandfather, Roger McAliden, worked as a stonemason on the Mourne Wall and the Silent Valley reservoir in the early twentieth century, and the family keeps his 1911 payslip from that work as part of its own record of the area's history. Bookings are taken directly through the company's own website and social channels rather than through an agency, and groups meet guides at trailheads across the range rather than at a shopfront, with the Kilkeel address serving as the business's registered base. Routes range from short introductory family walks to the Mourne Seven Sevens challenge, a demanding single-day round of seven of the range's highest summits.
