Surveyed
A wine bar on Wind Street occupying a Grade II listed building with cellars dating to the 15th century, formerly Munday's Wine Merchants. As a wine bar rather than a licensed public house it was not required to display a trade sign, which gave rise to the name No Sign. Dylan Thomas drank here in the 1930s and used the cellar as the model for the Wine Vaults in his short story The Followers. It continues to trade as an independent bar with occasional live acoustic sets.
