Northbound Brewery

Northbound Brewery is run from 6 McLean Road in Eglinton, just outside Derry, by David and Martina Rogers, who returned to Northern Ireland after nearly a decade in Sydney with a taste for Australian craft beer. David trained as a brewer and holds the Master Brewer qualification from the Institute of Brewing and Distilling, and the couple bottle their beer on site rather than contracting production elsewhere. The core range includes an 08 Kolsch-style beer, a 12 lager, a 26 pale ale, a 70 IPA, the Brandywell Brew and a whiskey-aged Banrion beer. Their beers have been stocked in Sainsbury's stores across Northern Ireland, a rare feat for a brewery of its size, alongside independent bottle shops and bars in the North West. There is no public taproom; sales run through the online shop and retail listings.
